Buyer question

Which dinner plates hold up best in a busy restaurant?

Look for durable porcelain or stoneware, a practical plate size, and a supplier who can test food-contact safety and inspect each batch.

For a high-volume restaurant, the plate has to survive daily washing, stacking and fast service. Porcelain and stoneware are the usual choices because they are made to take repeated use in commercial settings. Pick a size that fits your standard portions and your dishwashing setup.

Glaze and rim quality matter just as much as the body. Ask for samples made in about 7-10 days so your kitchen team can test weight, stacking and how the plate handles your menu. FDA, LFGB and SGS food-contact testing is available on request, which helps when your buyers ask for documentation.

We work with partner factories in Jingdezhen, Chaozhou, Liling and Jingshan, and can produce OEM or private label plates with your branding. Custom orders take 20-35 days after sample approval, and AQL pre-shipment inspection is carried out before the order ships in export cartons.
