How are stoneware serving dishes packed so they arrive unbroken?

Individual wrapping, cushioning and export cartons built for sea freight, with AQL pre-shipment inspection before the container closes.

How are stoneware serving dishes packed so they arrive unbroken?

Breakage in stoneware usually comes from movement inside the carton, not from the drop itself. Each piece is wrapped individually, cushioned so it cannot shift, and packed into export cartons sized for the journey. For sea freight we add moisture protection, since humidity over several weeks is often harder on glazed stoneware than handling.

Before shipment, an AQL pre-shipment inspection checks the packed cartons as well as the goods, so packing faults are caught at the factory rather than at your warehouse.

If your route involves transhipment or long inland legs, tell us when you request the quote. Carton strength and cushioning can be adjusted for the route, and we will confirm the packing spec with the sample so what you approve is what ships.
